REACH Webinar Series
With support from the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Swim Ontario hosted the R.E.A.C.H Webinar series during the fall of 2021.
R.E.A.C.H stands for:
Relationship Building/Research Based
Education/Engagement Driven
Access/Awareness Minded
Club/Coach Supports
Hub/Health Promotion through swimming
The objectives of the program are to:
- Raise awareness of Para Swimming programming.
- Provide education opportunities and enhance the knowledge within the swimming community regarding para swimming.
- Answer common questions and engage in collaborative dialogue with respect to para swimming: benefits, challenges, and opportunities
- Create, build, and enhance relationships to expand the REACH of para swimming opportunities – locally, regionally, provincially.
