February 8 update
- Due to a large number of swimmers in the 11-12 session the following change has been approved by Swim Ontario.
- The 11-12 800 Free event has shifted to the afternoon session on Saturday. See meet package for details.
January 29 update
- A new event file with correct course settings "SLY" has been uploaded to the RTR.
January 12 update
- A new event file with corected 100 IM qualifying time standards & B10&U 50 Free has been uploaded to the RTR.
Eligibility
All swimmers must be registered with a Swim Ontario affiliated club. Out-of-province swimmers are not eligible to attend.
- A competitor’s age is their age as of February 17, 2024
- The following swimmers are ineligible to attend Festivals:
- Swimmers 12&Under as of February 29, 2024 with 2 or more OSC Qualifying Times (age as of Feb 29) in either SCM or LCM
- A competitor is permitted to attend either the 2024 Ontario Winter Festival Championship or the 2024 Ontario Winter Youth-Junior Championship but not both.
- Relay-only swimmers are permitted, however a swimmer at either the 2024 Ontario Winter Festival Championship or the 2024 Ontario Winter Youth-Junior Championship cannot be a relay-only swimmer at the other event. As an example, a qualified Festivals swimmers attending this meet cannot be a relay-only swimmer at OYJ as well. As well, a relay only swimmer cannot participate in both Festivals and OYJ s as a relay-only swimmer.
- Qualifying Period: September 1, 2022 – February 4, 2024

- All eligible swimmers must achieve at least 1 (one) 2024 Ontario Festivals Championships Standard
Para swimmers
- Para-swimmers must have a current Level 1 or higher classification with Swimming Canada
- Para swimming events are open to any age group
- Para-swimmers are subject to ineligibility for meet de-qualifying.
- De-qualifying: A para-swimmer with 1 or more provincial para standard is not eligible to attend Festivals.
- All events are swum as OPEN in the MORNING sessions.
