Coaches Association of Ontario Coach Bursary Program
The Coaches Association of Ontario offers a Quest for Gold Bursary that allows the opportunity for coaches to apply to receive funding for up to a maximum of $300 per individual in the fiscal year (April 1, 2023-March 31, 2024) will be available to cover up to 60% of eligible course registration fees (workshop training) and up to 90% for completion of certification process (portfolio + evaluation).
Coaches Association of Ontario Coach Salary Support Programs
The CAO Coach Salary Support programs aim to increase the number of full-time salaried coaching positions in the sports industry by providing seed funding for organizations who are looking to hire a full-time coach for the first time.
Funding is available for full-time head coaches and for full-time female apprentice coaches at the post-secondary level.
Swim Ontario Coach Accelerator Project
This project is to provide educational and training opportunities for coaches to achieve training at the Swimming 201 Age Group Coach level during the 2023-2024 coaching season, targeted towards a cohort of 24 coaches, 4 per region. Application deadline is May 31, 2023.
