Chief Executive Officer
Chief Operating Officer
Darin is responsible for ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives. His role spans several key areas including sport safety, new club affiliation and applications, and operational support for member clubs. Darin provides leadership in risk management and financial oversight, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Business Operations and Member Services
Heather plays a key role in supporting Swim Ontario by managing club affiliation, athlete registration, invoicing, and processing through Swimming Canada’s registration system. She oversees the organization's business and accounting procedures, financial operations, and Swim A Thon, while providing administrative support to Swim Ontario staff and clubs.
Sport Development & Partnership Liaison
Christy manages grant applications, athlete funding, and facility partnerships while also supporting Olympic and Paralympic provincial programming, competitions, and records management. Additionally, she oversees the annual Swim Ontario Conference and awards programs.
Competition and Officials Development
Nicole plays a vital role in supporting and coordinating provincial officiating administration, with a focus on officiating development and management. She is the provincial sanctioning officer, and also provides direct support for provincial-level competitions and assists with affiliation and registration processes.
Provincial Team and Sport Experience Coordinator
Karen manages OSA registration, program logistics, and Provincial Tour Team operations, ensuring smooth coordination of travel and compliance. She also oversees operational reporting, liaising with TPASC, and merchandise inventory management.
Coach Compliance, Education, and Communication Services
Lindsay is responsible for managing coach compliance and registration through Swim Ontario, Swimming Canada, and the CSCA. She also oversees all aspects of NCCP training, including scheduling, registration, payment processing, and tracking course completion. Lindsay is responsible for all forms of external communications including social media channels.
Performance Pathways Technical Lead
Stu collaborates with the Technical Department to support the operation and delivery of the Olympic and Paralympic Performance Programming streams. He also monitors athlete and club performance using established analysis and performance metrics to drive development and success, as well as liaising with the Regional Chairs.
Grassroots Development Coordinator
Heather works closely with Regions and Clubs to assess, troubleshoot, and enhance grassroots programming across the province. She also develops and implements an educational support system for clubs and coaches at the grassroots level, providing guidance beyond the scope of the NCCP program.
Events and Promotions Coordinator
Ali supports the operation and delivery of Swim Ontario's events, sponsorship programming and support, and promotional activities, ensuring their smooth execution. Additionally, he provides assistance to the Masters Swimming program.
Administrative Coordinator
Kirsti manages the Info line and general inquiries and assists with competition procedures, meet sanctioning, insurance compliance, and incident reporting. Beyond her role in competitions, she also provides essential administrative support to Swim Ontario staff and Member Clubs.
Head Coach, Ontario Swimming Academy
• Don oversees the management, coordination, and implementation of all Ontario Swimming Academy (OSA) programming for Olympic and Paralympic stream athletes. He aligns these programs with Swimming Canada’s Performance Pathway, focusing on the development and progression of Ontario athletes toward the Swimming Canada Senior Teams.
