2026-27 Board of Directors

After a successful AGM on September 22, Swim Ontario is pleased to welcome James McGrath of Pickering to the Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Following his term as President, Andy Mitchell (Peterborough) will step down from the President’s role and complete his final year of his three-year Board commitment. Swim Ontario sincerely thanks Andy for his leadership and continued contribution to the organization.

Andrea Jurenovskis (Ottawa) assumes the role of President and has been re-elected to a three-year term. Ahmed Abdelfattah (Ottawa) has also been re-elected for another three-year term and will serve as Vice President.

Swim Ontario also extends its appreciation to Tobias Oriwol, who has completed his three-year term on the Board, for his service and contribution to the swimming community.

Continuing Board members are Leela D’Cruz (Toronto), Mark Thompson (Oakville), Lloyd Noronha (Orangeville) , Robert Giggey (Ottawa) and Taylor Bond (Toronto)

We look forward to the continued leadership and commitment of the 2026 Board of Directors as Swim Ontario moves forward in support of swimming across Ontario.
