In Memoriam: Guy Bergeron

Coach Guy Bergeron, a USA and Canadian Level 4 certified swim coach passed away on April 6, 2024.

He has been coaching all his life since swimming at the national level himself in Canada. He has coached and instructed children from ages 4 years to 18 years (learn to swim to Competitive swimming at National Level). Coaching was his passion and he believed every athlete has the potential to develop their own talent to wherever it can take them if they are willing to pay the price of hard work. He believed swimming is a good way to learn about self-discipline, time management and work ethics that will be a benefit in all areas of life. He coached several clubs across Ontario and and Canada, including the Codiac Vikings Aquatic Club, Club de Natation De Longueil, Muskoka Aquatic Club, Richmond Hill Aquatic Club and Champion Athletic Club before moving to Florida to continue his passion for coaching.

He will be greatly missed by his relatives, close family, and swimming community.
