In Memoriam: Robert Wallace

Swim Ontario is saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Wallace, a valued and dedicated official who served the Ottawa Valley swimming community for decades.

Robert officiated at age-group, high school, and masters competitions and was a long-time referee at the Technosport meets. He was known not only for his experience and professionalism, but also for his kindness, humour, and unwavering willingness to help. He never said no and was always there when the sport needed him.

Robert’s contributions left a lasting mark on our community, and he will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of working with him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
