In this webinar the panel will provide participants (Masters swimmers and coaches) with information about workout design and larger seasonal training plans. It will cover a range of topics, including:

Kelly Hughes- Head Coach and President, Aurora Masters Ducks
Kelly is a former national team member in her youth, then spending 20 years in the corporate world returned to the swimming community while her children were young with Ducks Swimming in 2001 with full intention coaching as a hobby. Kelly maintained her connection with swimming there on coaching all levels, serving as head coach for Ducks Swimming 2013-2018 developing swimmers to the provincial and national levels.
Luis Escobar- Head coach of Etobicoke Olympium Masters Aquatic Club (EOMAC)
Luis began is his swimming career at the age of 7 in Mexico developing regionally onto the national and international scene competing in the 2008 Olympic Games in 10km Open Water placing 18th. His 20 year swimming career took him around the world, representing Mexico at SC & LC world pool championships, World Open Water championships and World Student Games. Luis held national records in the 400, 800 and 1500 free while consistently placing in the top 20 internationally with a top 10 career hi-lite.
Luis’s coaching career is equally as impressive serving as Age group coach with ESWIM for 3 years, top Ontario coaching honours, and currently the last 6 years with EOMAC.
Mario Ramirez- Coach Guelph Marlin Aquatic Club
Mario was born and raised in Mexico City. At 8 years of age he began his journey of competitive swimming. At age 13 he earned a spot in Mexico’s Olimpiada Nacional, known to us a Olympic Trials. This was a huge milestone leading him to compete internationally. At age 16, he moved to Canada to take his academic and swimming goals to higher levels. He is very proud of his developing years with the Toronto Swim Club, Guelph Marlins and a successful university career at the University of Guelph and the Gryphons varsity team. He carried the love of swimming making coaching as a career.
