In Memoriam: Mel Davis

Mel Davis, father of swimming legend Victor Davis, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2022, thirty three years to the day that Victor passed. Mel was a long time friend and supporter of swimming in Ontario and Canada and will be greatly missed by our swimming family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital or Swimming Canada – The Victor Davis Memorial Fund. 

A memorial visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1-3 pm.
