In Memoriam: Maddy Kort
BBST swimmer passes away
Our thoughts and condolences are with the Kort Family and the Belleville Beast Swim Team, as well as all family and friends, after the tragic loss of Maddy, who was a swimmer on the team, and her sister Joni, in a traffic accident in Florida over March Break.
The Kort Family has been part of BBST since 2016 and Maddy holds the club record in the 11-12 girls 50 back. At their meet last weekend, there was a 34 second moment of silence in her honor - the same as her record time.
Memorial Arrangements have not been set at this time, however, there is a GoFundMe running for the family to support them during this time.
