In Memoriam: Murray Drudge

With a heavy heart Swim Ontario is saddened to share with the Ontario swimming community that coach Murray Drudge passed away suddenly on Monday February 17th. Murray was a well known and respected coach in Ontario and Canada and had a great impact on many lives as both a friend and mentor.

Murray had been volunteer coaching this season with the HPC Ontario in collaboration with Swim Ontario and Swimming Canada.  He was the long time head coach of the North York Aquatic Club until 2019 and had previously coached in Ottawa, Regina and Etobicoke, amongst others.

We extend our condolences to Murray’s friends, family, athletes and loved ones during this difficult time.
