Swim Ontario Club Mentorship Pilot Program

Swim Ontario continues to strive to assist Ontario Swimming Clubs to be strong, vibrant, welcoming and sport safe.

The 2021-2028 Strategic Plan states a directive to facilitate member Club management expertise, with a focus on best practices via a club led mentorship program. We are pleased to have three Mentor Clubs to lead a discussion and share best practices, key elements and lessons learned with clubs who value the opportunity to learn to be better.

By completing and submitting the following, your club (President and Head Coach) will have the opportunity to meet virtually with the Mentoring Club and other ‘Partnership Clubs’ to discuss key areas of club governance and operations with the intention come away from the meeting with ideas, clearer intentions and direction.

Virtual Meeting: April/May
In-person Meeting: September Conference/AGM weekend.

Mentor Clubs:

• Oakville Aquatic Club (OAK)
• Barrie Trojan Swim Club (BTSC)
• Whitby Swimming (WS)

Submit by March 31, 2023. There is limited space for 27 clubs to participate in this program, and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
