2022 Provincial Competition Update

Swim Ontario is pleased to announce that we will be moving forward with in person provincial competitions for 2022!

Please see the Summary Table for Provincial Competitions 2022 (as of Nov. 24, 2021).  This summary table is subject to change based on health regulations.  A review will take place in January 2022 on several aspects of the format for each event. 

The time standards are posted at http://swimontario.com/page.php?id=1657 .  They have not changed from the 2019-2020 standards.  The qualifying period will begin September 1, 2019.

We currently have confirmed facilities for the following events:

• Winter Ontario Youth Junior Championships (OYJ) – March 3-6, 2022 - Markham Pan Am Pool
• Winter Ontario Swimming Championships (OSC) – March 3-6, 2022 – Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre
• **Ontario Masters Provincials (OMP) – March 26-27, 2022 – Etobicoke Olympium
• Summer Ontario Festival Championships (FEST) – June 17-19, 2022 – Etobicoke Olympium
• Summer Ontario Youth Junior Championships (OYJ) – June 16-19, 2022 – Markham Pan Am Pool
• Summer Ontario Swimming Championships (OSC) – July 7-10, 2022 – Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre

We are currently seeking a facility for the following event:

• Winter Ontario Festival Championships (FEST) – February 19-20, 2022

We are currently seeking hosts for ALL of the provincial competitions for 2022 with the exception of:

**Ontario Masters Provincials (OMP) – March 26-27, 2022 – Etobicoke Olympium – HOST - EOMAC

Clubs interested in hosting are required to complete the 2022 Provincial Competition Hosting Bid Form. The link for the bids is HERE

Clubs awarded the hosting bid will be required to sign a hosting agreement, LOU or MOU and submit the Provincial Competitions Financial Template.

The hosting application process DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 13th, 2021.
