Location: UBC Aquatic Centre, Vancouver, BC

Tour Size

• Up to ten (10) swimmers regardless of gender
• Swim Ontario reserves the right to not select a full complement of swimmers for this camp

Age of Eligibility

• Female 2005 or Older
• Male 2004 or Older

Athlete Participation Fee: $1500.00

Swimmer Eligibility

• Swimmers must be fully registered for Swimming Canada/Swim Ontario
• Swimmers must meet Age of Eligibility listed above to be considered.
• All participants must meet the Swim Ontario COVID-19 Provincial Team and Event Activity Vaccination Policy and Procedure
• Individuals are required to provide their Proof of Vaccination
• All participants must meet all facility entry and Covid safety requirements.

Performance Window: March 1, 2022 to April 25, 2022

Selection Criteria

• Up to ten (10) highest ranked World Class On-Track performances regardless of gender will be identified based on performances achieved during the identified performance window
• The next six (6) highest ranked On-track swimmers will be designated as alternates and will become eligible for selection should a vacancy occur.

Performance Eligibility

• Swim Ontario will only consider results in Olympic Events from all sanctioned long course(LC) competitions within the Eligible Performance Window.
• Only results that appear on the Swimming Canada RTR will be considered.
• It is individual clubs or athletes responsibility to ensure that results are uploaded to the Swimming Canada RTR
• Eligible swimmers must meet the qualifying standards for the competition.

Selection Timelines

• The 10 (ten) highest ranked swimmers regardless of gender using the selection criteria above will be notified of their eligibility to attend the tour through their Coach of Record on Monday April 26th, 2022
• Swimmers must confirm their attendance by Friday April 29th at 5:00pm EST.
• Swim Ontario reserves the right to not select a full complement of swimmers for this tour

Travel and Accommodation:

• All travel and accommodation plans will be communicated by the Tour Team Manager to all attending confirmed swimmers.

Amendments and Unforeseen Circumstances:

• In the event of unforeseen or unusual circumstances, Swim Ontario Performance Staff under the direction of the CEO has the full discretion to resolve the matter as it sees fit, taking into account factors and circumstances that it deems relevant.

Changes to this Document

• The Swim Ontario performance staff reserves the right to make changes to this document at its discretion.
• Any changes to this document shall be communicated directly to all eligible participants through their Coach of Record and published on the Swim Ontario website.

Swimmer Registration Link

• A designated registration link will be sent to confirmed swimmers by the Team Manager or designate.

• Competition entries will be coordinated with the swimmers Coach of Record.
