Swim Ontario will be hosting a Level 2 Classification event for para swimmers who have received a Level 1 Classification and are ready to complete the Level 2 Classification process.

Eligibility for Level 2 Classification:
- Athletes must be at least 12 years of age (Y.O.B 2009 or older) or have the permission of the Swimming Canada’s National Classification Lead.
- Athletes must have received a Level 1 Classification.
- Athletes must be technically sound and able to perform all components of the Level 2 Technical Assessment
- Athletes should be attending sanctioned swimming competitions.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Swimmers must be fully registered with Swimming Canada/Swim Ontario
- Swimmers must meet Age of Eligibility listed above to be considered.
- All participants must meet the Swim Ontario COVID-19 Provincial Team and Event Activity Vaccination Policy and Procedure
- Individuals are required to provide either their Proof of Vaccination or a Letter of Accommodation to the facility.
- All participants must meet all facility entry and Covid safety requirements.
Process:
- Complete a Request for Sport Class Evaluation
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT REQUEST FOR SPORT CLASS EVALUATION FORM IS APRIL 14, 2021. - Complete the Medical Diagnosis Form (MDF) which will be sent to you by Swimming Canada after they process your Request for Sport Class Evaluation form.
- Indicate to Swimming Canada staff that you would like to attend the Level 2 Classification Event on MAY 5, 2022 at TPASC.
Travel and Accommodation:
- ALL travel and accommodation including any cost associated with attending the classification event is the responsibility of the swimmer.
