THIS PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY IS MADE POSSIBLE BY SWIM ONTARIO THROUGH THE OHPSI PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM, CULTURE AND SPORT.

CAMP FEE: $150.00

ATHLETE ELIGIBILITY

  • Females: Y.O.B 2008 and Younger
  • Males: Y.O.B 2007 and Younger

CAMP SIZE

  • 40 Swimmers
    • Top 20 Females, Top 20 Males in the Stroke 200’s and the 200 IM based on % off of the World Class On-Track Times.
    • Swim Ontario reserves the right to not select a full complement of swimmers for this camp

Swimmer Eligibility

  • Swimmers must be fully registered for Swimming Canada/Swim Ontario
  • Swimmers must meet Age of Eligibility listed above to be considered.
  • All participants must meet all facility entry and covid safety requirements where applicable.

Performance Window: April 1, 2022 to August 31, 2022

Performance Eligibility

  • Swim Ontario will only consider results in Olympic Events from all sanctioned long course(LC) competitions within the Eligible Performance Window.
  • Only results that appear on the Swimming Canada RTR will be considered.
  • It is individually clubs or athletes responsibility to ensure that results are uploaded to the Swimming Canada RTR

Selection Criteria

  • 2021 SNC On Track Times will be utilized as;
  • Eligible LCM performances will be ranked as a percentage using On Track times as described above.

Camp Selection Timelines

  • The 20 highest ranked swimmers per gender using the selection criteria above will be notified of their eligibility to attend the camp through their Coach of Record on Wednesday October 5, 2022
  • Swimmers must confirm their attendance using the Swimmer Registration link by Monday October 10, 2022 at 5:00pm.
  • The final list of confirmed swimmers will be circulated to Coaches of Record on Friday October 7th, 2022
  • Swim Ontario reserves the right to not select a full complement of swimmers for this camp

Travel and Accommodation:

  • ALL travel and accommodation including any cost associated with attending the camp is the responsibility of the swimmer.

Amendments and Unforeseen Circumstances:

  • In the event of unforeseen or unusual circumstances, Swim Ontario Performance Staff under the direction of the CEO has the full discretion to resolve the matter as it sees fit, considering factors and circumstances that it deems relevant.

Changes to this Document:

  • The Swim Ontario performance staff reserves the right to make changes to this document at its discretion.
  • Any changes to this document shall be communicated directly to all eligible participants through their Coach of Record and published on the Swim Ontario website.
