Clinic showing in LMS but not in REMS

Provided the ballchart IDs match between REMS and LMS for an official, if a clinic is showing complete in LMS but not showing in REMS, the COA can retrieve this information from the officials REMS credential account using the "+ Update Member Credential (Ballchart)" red button. This will fetch the Clinic and clinic date and add the credential to their profile. A very handy tool to avoid "undos" in LMS.

LMS Login issues & LMS clinics

In order to login to the LMS as an official, they need a Ballchart ID.  Some accounts do not automatically get a ballchart ID.  Sportlomo does run a script twice daily to add ballchart IDs to officials who do not have one. 

A reminder that officials must login to the LMS at least once for a COA to be able to add them to a clinic.  Sportlomo is supposed to be running a script daily to do this auto login.

Before emailing officials, always double check they have a ballchart ID.  You may want to delay communications until that is assigned and sportlomo does the auto-login script.

How to add a historical clinic to REMS (before 2023-2024 season) for one or two officials

How to add clinics to REMS for a group of officials (missed clinic in LMS) from last two seasons

• The clinic needs to be added to LMS first with the correct date.  
  • You may need to add a different instructor then the one that did the clinic as they may not be in the LMS.
  • Clinic names to select:
    • Timer Clinic, choose both Intro to Swim officiating & Safety Marshal Clinics
    • For the old Stroke & Turn clinic, choose both Inspector of Turns and Judge of Stroke clinics
    • For Clerk of Course, choose Administrative Desk clinic
    • For Chief Recorder/Recorder clinic, choose Recorder Clinic only
    • For Chief Finish Judge/Chief Judge Electronic Clinic, choose both Chief Recorder & Chief Judge Electronics Clinics
• In the notes to participants add a note for Nicole that this is for historical clinic addition.
• Wait for approval
• Add official (s)
• Save attendees, submit for approval, send to REMS.

How to add an official to a clinic that has already been sent to REMS

• COAs can now do this. Unlock the clinic by "Undos".
• Once unlocked, you will be able to add more attendees, save attendees, submit for approval and re-send to REMS.
• Note: there are many clinics in the LMS that were never sent to REMS.  Always check this as a possible reason for missing credentials.
