Open Water Officials Clinics

Swim Ontario will be hosting a series of Virtual Open Water Officials Clinics in May/June in preparation for our Ontario Open Water Championships on Saturday, July 25 & Sunday, July 26 at Gull Lake in Gravenhurst

To participate in the open water clinics, an official needs to be registered in REMS as an official.

Registration for the clinics is through the LMS. An official needs to login to their REMS account to then login to LMS and register for the clinics. Those experiencing difficulties can email Nicole directly at nicole@swimontario.com.

Open Water Level 1 clinic

Some experience with in-pool competition is an asset. Minimum age for the clinic is 16 years of age as of the date of the clinic.

• May 26, 2026 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Open Water Level 2 clinic

Pre-requisite: OW Level 1 clinic. Some experience with open water officiating or volunteering is an asset. Minimum age for the clinic is 18 years of age as of the date of the clinic

• June 9, 2026 - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
