In some areas of the province, the Inspector of Turns and Judges of Stroke are given DQ slips with their heat sheet/clipboard. I worked a meet yesterday and was told it was not permitted.

Are IT/JS allowed to have DQ slips with their heat sheet/clipboard?
There is no rule specific to who keeps the DQ slips or where they are kept. Keeping the DQ slips with the commission table and not with the IT or JS is a national protocol that is making its way onto the regional deck.
What is permitted can depend on the level of the competition, experience of the officials and the decision/preference of the competition coordinator/meet referee.
A reminder that it is an infraction till it is discussed with the Referee and approved. It then becomes a disqualification. The Referee needs to be comfortable with the wording of the infraction and to confirm that the form is completed correctly.
